Our mission is to help local residents and visitors alike to create personalized experiences to expand their conception of our region. Walking Tours
Beyond the Landmarks walking tours provide guests with an introduction to a specific time period in Washington DC history or a specific cultural group’s unique experience. Each tour lasts 2-2.5 hours and is led by a knowledgeable guide who is able to share information and answer questions. While these tours visit some of the traditional tourist DC landmarks, the information presented goes significantly beyond the guidebook content, covering the stories and experiences that are often overlooked. Culture Connoisseur
Beyond the Landmarks Culture Connoisseur program is for DC area residents who want to upgrade their cultural calendar without all the work. After all, researching great restaurants, concerts, plays, and museum exhibits takes a lot of time and effort! When you join our culture connoisseur program, we do the work while you get the benefits. Our interest survey allows you to share your cultural interests, schedule, and budget and can be updated each month. We then use your individual responses to prepare a personalized calendar for each month. Once you approve, we take care of all bookings and reservations. We even preload all of your tickets and reservation confirmations into a shared folder for easy access and send reminder texts when your events are approaching. Vacation Itineraries
Beyond the Landmarks vacation itineraries provide guests with a personalized itinerary for any vacation to the DC region. You provide us with the types of experience that you hope to have and we provide you with a suggested itinerary including transportation, events, entertainment, and suggested accommodations. Once you are happy with the itinerary, you make all of the arrangements and get to enjoy your visit! We even provide you with some background information on each part of your itinerary so that you can get the most out of your stay. Consider booking this along with a walking tour to get even more out of your stay. Note: vacation itineraries do not include guides or bookings. Tour Packages (Coming Soon!)
Beyond the Landmarks all inclusive tour packages provide guests with a stress-free personalized itinerary for visits between 1 and 3 days. With this package, your group hires our team to plan a trip to your specifications and lead your group throughout your visit. We find accommodations, entertainment, cultural institution visits, and restaurants based on your unique interests, tastes, and budget. A knowledgeable guide is assigned to your group throughout your visit to manage all logistics so that you can enjoy your trip and the time with your party.
